THE 290 PILOT IS ONE OF KIND!!
The Everglades 290 Pilot - latest design from Bob and Stephen Dougherty - received top honors at the 2005 NMMA Innovation Awards in Miami, sole winner in the Fishing Boats category for innovative achievement.
The Everglades 290 Pilot is a high-end offshore family fishing boat packed with standard features that are either unique to the boat or available only as options by other manufacturers.
Recessed storage areas abound throughout the Everglades 290 Pilot to secure belongings in roomy fiberglass finished compartments. The 290 Pilot also offers optimum comfort for family and friends with Everglades signature seats at the stern, the helm and forward of the console.
Finished inside and out, the Everglades 290 Pilot features white powder-coated rails and red L.E.D. lights throughout the boat for added safety.
Innovations in the 290 Pilot are also hidden. Aluminum extrusions with integrated awning tracks and wire-runs were built into - not around - the console to make it more spacious and allow for more walk-around space.
Like all Everglades boats, the new Everglades 290 Pilot uses the patented RAMCAP construction process to create a truly unsinkable offshore fishing boat for the safest experience on the water.
The most unique feature is the Dougherty designed command console. It combines a fully integrated hardtop with windshield and leaning post-command seat with livewell and tackle rigging station. The Command Console allows for all-weather running and converts into a fully enclosed, Dougherty designed pilothouse.
The eight drawer tackle rigging station comes complete with a full-size cutting board and fresh and raw water sink.
Forward, the combo leaning post-command lounge is comprised of the helm and companion seats separated by a comfortable armrest. The seats feature curved backrests and individually fold up into comfortable leaning posts.
At the stern, the Fisherman's transom sports six rod holders and comes complete with a bait prep area, a water spigot and a slide out cooler. The two person hide-away folding seat doubles as a large access door to the batteries, pumps and battery charging system. The transom door locks in place whether open or closed for added safety.
At the helm, the unique power security shield conceals and secures electronics at the touch of a button. The hardtops underside features two electronics boxes one forward next to the navigation and courtesy lights distribution panel, and one aft, in between built-in speakers.
The wrap-around windshield is made of tempered glass with wiper and washer. It comes with wing vents and allows full visibility as well as protection from the elements.
Forward of the console, the Everglades signature side-by-side seats come with a curved backrest and stainless steel cup holders in between.
The enclosed finished fiberglass head compartment comes complete with China bowl head, macerator discharge, vanity with sink and storage, and shower. The top half of the cabin door opens and locks in place for ventilation.
The hardtop sports six rod holders along the aft edge, two Kingfish rod holders and two mid-mount rod holders for rigging. Navigation and courtesy lights include overhead white and red L.E.D. lights, spreader lights and navigation lights.
The bow features a 160-gallon fish box, two large storage compartments and two lockable rod storage compartments for eight rods. It comes standard with a set of three plush bow cushions.
Boat comes with all the standard features plus: Twin 350 Yamaha's, Upgraded Colored Hull, Power Steering, Clarion Radio System, Polished SS Anchor, Taco Outriggers, and Triple Axle Aluminum Trailer with Torsion Axle Suspension, SS U-Bolts, and LED Lights.
